Charlie Chislaghi has been working with the sales and service department at the LA Galaxy for several years now. Charlie has a wealth of valuable insight into proven successful techniques to selling and servicing in professional sports and also provides a tremendous psychological and motivational boost to all the staff members he works with. On his most recent visit, Charlie put a particular focus on connecting with our clients on a personal level. By demonstrating and reinforcing the use of appropriate statements about oneself, Charlie helped our sales staff approach the sales process in a more interesting and more effective way. It hadn’t occurred to some of the staff, and was a timely and impactful reminder to others, how powerful it can be to talk about oneself. Charlie also emphasized “painting the picture,” or describing the Galaxy experience to each individual prospect as it relates to him or her personally. Our staff has embraced painting the picture as an effective and interesting way to close prospects on a powerful emotional level.

One of the most invaluable qualities Charlie brings is the endless amount of real life and current examples he can speak to based on his firsthand experience—reading between the lines, that means he is constantly working with your peers in the sporting world! Whether your interest is groups, season seats, premium, service, or all of the above, Charlie can help. He will certainly continue to play a part in the development of the sales and service team at the LA Galaxy.

I would be remiss if I did not say that Charlie has become a close personal friend to both my wife and me. Professional to a T, Charlie is someone with whom I always enjoy decompressing with over a nice meal and glass of wine!

After over twenty years working in our unique industry, one of the most significant areas teams overlook still remains proper sales training for our entry level ticketing sales executives. I have been very fortunate to work with Charlie at two of my NBA stops, overseas in English football and now back in the US with our Colorado Rapids. Charlie provides exceptional sales and service training, with a focus on building long-lasting relationships with your clients. During my time at Derby County Football Club in the UK, Charlie played a vital role in providing our sales staff with training around season ticket and group sales, as well as how to retain those clients and continue to build relationships with them. Once I made the move to Major League Soccer, one of my first acts as Director of Sales for Sporting Kansas City was to bring Charlie in and spend time with our staff.
